For The Love of God (Not Hurst's) 2012

For The Love of God is a two dollar shop recreation of Damian Hurst's For The Love of God, which cost twenty three million to make and then sold at action for one hundred million dollars. The work was created by commissioning other artists to do the work. They were paid how most artists are paid... with hugs. Created when undertaking the Bachelor of Fine Arts at University of Tasmania's School of Creative Arts and Media.

Ready-made scull sourced by Dr Phillip Blacklow, teeth finish by Ian Mundy, scull chroming by Matt Barklay and bling arrangement by Sara Lindsay.
